A while back you voted for signature sign-off on Visis which is live now.
A lot of you told us that a tick just didn't carry the same weight as an actual signature, especially for things like subcontractor sign-off, precast inspections, and client approvals. So that's what we built:
- Add a signature as a requirement in any template, alongside photos, short answers, and checkboxes
- Require a signature when a reviewer approves a Visi, so sign-off is tied to them specifically
Signatures are captured on the spot (works on mobile too), tied to the version of the work signed, and show up in the activity feed and PDF exports for a proper audit trail.

I would like to have a signature tab for clients to sign off on each task or activity performed. This feature would streamline the process and ensure accountability by allowing clients to easily provide their signatures directly within the task interface.

I suggest adding a signature tab in tasks, as it is critical for QAQC processes. This feature would enhance the documentation and verification process within tasks, ensuring that all necessary approvals and sign-offs are captured efficiently.

this does not work with builder and subcontractor
i still find it reasonable to add digital signature or send the Itp or request to builder for approval and they are happy and can sign it elctronically , this way its more robust and has authority
Visbuild approval cant be an authority just by confirming, it is a tool
