Assignees can mark a defect as
In dispute
on web or mobile, with an optional comment — for when it's the wrong trade, out of scope, or not theirs.Whoever's nominated on the defect round gets an email when a dispute is raised.
The defect's creator or a reviewer resolves it: back to Open, or Closed (disputed).
Disputed defects can be filtered and show up in dashboards + exports — so open counts stay clean and disputes stop hiding in Can't Close.
